Corporate housing is a temporary stay rental solution for individuals or groups of employees who need a place to live while traveling outside of their home city. At RRI, we offer options like full-service hotels, extended stay hotels, corporate apartments, and private fully furnished rentals.
Does RRI work with individuals as well as companies?
RRI, a B2B business, works with employers and organizations that are securing housing for their workforce. Once RRI has an authorization, our accommodation specialists will work with individuals seeking short-term housing.
Do I have a single point of contact?
Yes, at RRI, we assign a dedicated account manager to each client and an Accommodations Specialist to each resident. This specialist serves as the single point of contact, managing all aspects of the resident’s housing needs from start to finish. This ensures seamless communication, personalized service, and efficient handling of any requests or issues that may arise during your employees’ stays.
Can my company get directly billed?
Yes, RRI offers direct billing options for corporate clients. We work with employers to set up direct billing arrangements, simplifying the payment process and reducing administrative burden. This allows your company to manage housing expenses more efficiently, whether for short-term housing, relocation, temporary living, or business travel.
Who pays for furnished housing?
RRI directly bills our employer-clients that offer furnished housing benefits to their employees.
What are the different types of corporate housing provided by RRI?
The specific need for corporate housing determines what type of temporary housing is the best solution or options provided.
Full-Service Hotel: These hotels offer a wide range of amenities and services designed to cater to business travelers. They typically include features such as on-site dining, room service, concierge services, fitness centers, and meeting rooms. Full-service hotels are well-suited for shorter stays.
Extended-Stay Hotel: These hotels are tailored for guests who need accommodations for an extended period, usually a week or more. They provide more space than traditional hotels, often including kitchenettes or full kitchens, and offer amenities like laundry facilities and workspaces. Extended-stay hotels combine the benefits of a hotel with the convenience of home-like features, making them a versatile option even for longer terms.
Corporate (Serviced) Apartment: These accommodations provide a home-like environment, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. They typically include furnished living spaces, fully equipped kitchens, and amenities such as internet, TV with streaming capabilities, and optional housekeeping services.
Private Rental: Private rentals can include townhomes, houses, apartments or condos rented out by private owners or property management companies. These options offer a wide range of styles and sizes, allowing for more personalized and potentially cost-effective choices. They provide a residential experience and are ideal for those seeking a more independent and tailored housing experience.
What experience does RRI have in managing housing for Intern Programs?
RRI has decades of extensive experience working with intern programs and understands the unique challenges interns face when securing housing. We recognize that interns often deal with financial constraints such as high costs, lack of credit history, upfront fees, hidden costs, and even housing scams. Yes, RRI specializes in providing furnished housing solutions for large groups in multiple states. Whether it’s for employee relocation, government/military housing, intern housing, leadership development programs, or rotational assignments, we have the expertise and resources to accommodate your needs across various locations. Our comprehensive network ensures that your team members have access to high-quality furnished accommodations wherever they are needed.
Can I group people together to reduce cost?
Absolutely. RRI can help group your employees together in shared accommodations, such as corporate apartments or extended stay hotels, to optimize space and reduce costs. We work with you to find the most cost-effective housing solutions that meet your company’s budget and your employees’ needs, ensuring a comfortable and efficient living arrangement. RRI assists in this process with a roommate survey and roommate matching.
What is included in a full service corporate apartment?
A full service corporate apartment (aka serviced apartment) is everything included in our standard housing package – housewares, all utilities, furnishings, internet, and a washer and dryer – with the addition of parking. Full service furnished accommodations are available in the majority of markets, so if you’re interested, let an RRI team member know!
Do you have a minimum length of stay required for corporate housing?
There is no minimum length of stay for our furnished accommodations.
Is temporary housing furnished?
Temporary housing typically includes basic furnishings, kitchen appliances, and essential utilities, but the set up will vary based upon the needs and type of housing provided.
How much does a corporate housing cost?
Rates will vary depending on your type of housing option(s) selected, lease term, location, and the size of your furnished rental, utilities, etc. RRI’s expert specialists work with you to find the perfect corporate apartment within your budget and in your desired location.
Where is corporate housing available?
We offer accommodations in most rural, suburban, and urban markets globally. We are often able to accommodate individual preferences such as living close to downtown, within a certain school district, or in a walkable neighborhood.
Can I view multiple housing options before booking?
Yes. After receiving the request form, an RRI Accommodations Specialist will provide various options, including full-service hotels, corporate apartments, extended-stay hotels, and private rentals, that best meet your criteria – such as with your budget, ideal location, and accommodation preferences.
Are there maximums on length of stay?
No. We are able to accommodate stays of up to a year or more in our furnished housing solutions.
How much notice is required if I am extending my stay?
Our Accommodations Specialists will work to accommodate any and all requests related to your short- or long-term rental. If you need to stay longer than originally planned, contact our notices team at notices@rentalrelocation.com. Please note that extensions past the initial contract date need approval from the client/employer, and can be processed only if the unit has not been leased to another client.
Do you offer handicap accessible accommodations?
Yes we do. These units are limited, but available. The more notice you can give us for an upcoming stay, the better the chances are that we will have availability for you. Please let us know about your needs as soon as possible so that we may accommodate you to the best of our ability.
Can families stay in temporary housing during the relocation?
Yes, families can stay in temporary housing during a relocation, unless otherwise instructed by the client/employer.
Do you honor special requests, such as specific locations, ground level units, a premium view, handicap accessibility, or maid service?
We do our best to accommodate all requests and will work hard to find you temporary housing that meets your needs. After considering all of your requests, RRI will give you apartment communities options from which to choose. Let us know which property you like best, and we’ll get you ready to move in quickly and confidently.
Is housekeeping provided?
While we don’t offer housekeeping services with our standard furniture and household package in furnished apartments and private rentals, ongoing cleaning services are available upon request for an additional cost.
Is there any way to contact someone after hours in case of an emergency?
For after-hours maintenance, services can vary between hotels, furnished apartments, and private rentals. RRI offers a dedicated emergency hotline at 844-737-0611 for urgent after-hours support. Please note that for any serious or life-threatening situations, you should immediately contact local emergency services by dialing 9-1-1.
Can my pet stay with me in corporate housing?
Let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring pets so we can find a suitable hotel, apartment or private rental that welcomes your furry friend. We will need to know the size and breed of your pet(s) at the time of your housing request. Typically, pets will require a pet fee, and some size and breed restrictions may apply depending on the location.
What time do I check in?
Check-in is usually after 3:00 PM unless prior arrangements have been made and approved with your Accommodations Specialist. If you need a different move-in time, speak to your Accommodations Specialist beforehand to create a move-in plan that works for your schedule.
What time do I check out? Is anything else required of me?
Checkout is usually by 10:00 AM on the day your lease ends and you will be provided detailed move-out instructions. You will need to remove all personal belongings and trash before departing.
How do you communicate important information such as move-in / move-out instructions?
Your Accommodations Specialist will provide detailed instructions via email a few days before both your arrival and departure dates.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking of any variety – cigarettes, cigars, and e-cigarettes – is not permitted.
Do I need to get renter’s insurance?
Your employer is not responsible for losses to personal property or liability while staying in furnished rental such as a corporate apartment or private rental. We strongly recommend getting renter’s insurance to cover personal liability and belongings if there is a loss (fire, flood, theft, etc.).
